Do you want to attract Tennessee butterflies to your garden? Do you want to learn about native plants that are host plants for some of our most exquisite butterflies & moths and other native pollinators?
The Friends of Cedars of Lebanon State Park invite you to volunteer with us as we work on Monday mornings at the beautiful pollinator garden located behind the Dixon Merritt Nature Center at Cedars of Lebanon State Park.
We maintain the garden under the direction and supervision of Linda Robertson & Kathy Powers, both Wilson County Certified Master Gardeners. They are our our teacher/mentors as we learn about the Tennessee native plants, butterflies, moths and pollinators that are essential to a healthy, sustainable ecosystem.
During this hot season, we work from 7:30 to 10:00 AM so we can beat the heat. In September, we will start at 9:00 AM. We hope you can join us. For more information call 903-880-7133.
