Moth Night at Cedars of Lebanon SP – Saturday, 24 July 2021

On Saturday night, 24 July 2021, John Froeschauer, retired Interpretive Specialist for Tennessee State Parks and members of Friends of Cedars of Lebanon State Park, will set up moth lights and other attractants for a fun night of moth spotting at Cedars of Lebanon State Park. This event is free and open to the public. Everyone is welcome.

sphynx-moth-78363882John will set up behind the Dixon Merritt Nature Center about dusk, so plan to get there by 8:00 PM. If you have a moth field guide, bring it. Also bring a camera. Some of these moths are spectacular.
