Butterfly Gardening in the Rain

Kathy Powers and Linda Robertson, both members of the Wilson County Master Gardener Association, might have been mail carriers in a previous life, but they continue to uphold that old adage about working in the rain, sleet, snow and hail in this life as caretakers of the Butterfly & Native Plant Garden at Cedars of Lebanon State Park. Here are a few photos just before the deluge on Monday morning, 14 August 2017.

From  spring through autumn, Linda and/or Kathy have scheduled workdays at the COLSP Butterfly and Native Plant Garden on the second Monday and fourth Friday of the month beginning about 8:00 AM.  Volunteers are always welcome!
