Don’t miss the Easter Egg Scramble at Cedars of Lebanon State Park on Saturday, 15 April 2017 at 1:00 PM. Kids ages 2-12 are invited to hunt eggs, and will be divided into four groups according to age. Toddlers will have an area all to themselves, and may be accompanied by one parent during the hunt.
We have lots of candy & eggs this year, and prizes too. But be sure to bring your own basket or sack to gather your eggs in.
NEWS FLASH: The Easter Egg Scramble will take place on the hill between the horse stables and swimming pool parking lot. This is where the event was held in 2015, and due to other events in the park, we are moving it back there for 2017. Limited parking is available near the playground and picnic area where the event is held, but most will need to park at either the horse stables or east of the swimming pool parking lot. Please arrive early enough to park and walk to the Easter Egg Scramble site on time. The egg scrambles begin at 1:00 PM, so you must arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start. As always, drive safely and watch for children while entering, parking and exiting the park!

Again, the Easter egg hunt will begin at precisely 1:00 PM, and as you might imagine, the actual egg hunt does not take long. In other words, to participate you must arrive well before 1:00 PM. If you wait until 12:55 to show up, your children will miss the egg hunt all together. Allow enough time to find a parking space, walk with your children to the Easter Egg Scramble site, and get your children to the appropriate area for their age.
